2017 Summer Chef Series: Hey, Paisan!

It’s here! The last release in our 2017 Summer Chef Series is from Chef Tony Galzin of Nicky’s Coal Fired here in Nashville. Inspired by spumoni ice cream and rooted in traditional Italian flavors, the “Hey, Paisan!” features Averna amaro caramel, toasted pistachios, amarena cherry nougat, and Trapani sea salt with a dark chocolate shell.

This incredible Premium Goo Goo is available starting today, Friday, September 8th, for a limited time at the Goo Goo Shop, in our online store, and at Nicky’s Coal Fired.

“Secrets of Goo Goo” Chocolate Class 8/29

Make all your chocolate dreams come true by joining us for a fun and insightful evening hosted by the Goo Goo Shop and Dessert Bar. In our “Secrets of Goo Goo” class, you’ll concept and create your very own custom Goo Goo, learn a secret recipe from our Dessert Bar and make a decadent treat to take home with you, plus walk through a guided tasting of wines and chocolate.

Your $85 Ticket Includes:

  • Admission to Secrets of Goo Goo Class from 6 pm until 7:30 pm on Tuesday, August 29, 2017
  • Hands-on “Make Your Own Goo Goo” Experience
  • Pastry chef instruction and guidance as you make one of our secret recipes from the Dessert Bar
  • Tasting of 4 delicious wines paired with 4 of our handmade Goo Buttons
  • Pairing education & instruction
  • Light hors d’oeuvres
  • Your very own Goo Goo apron to take home!

Note: This is a 21 and over experience.

Introducing Chocolate Classes at the Goo Goo Shop

We’re excited to announce the launch of private group chocolate classes at the Goo Goo Shop in downtown Nashville! Grab a few friends, loved ones, or co-workers and come join us for a super sweet class.

 

 

Always wanted to make your own dream Goo Goo? Well, now you can.

We also offer classes where you can learn to temper chocolate, create your own designer chocolate bark, learn how to make ganache and truffles, and even get a secret Goo Goo recipe or two from our decadent Dessert Bar!

 

Learn some chocolate history and increase your knowledge while you have some hands-on fun in our informative workshops.

Perfect for corporate team building excursions, bachelorette parties, or just a group of friends that want to have some fun together and learn all about chocolate.

Every hands-on experience we offer will send you home with recipes, a Goo Goo apron, and all the treats you’ve made in class.

Currently our classes are only offered as advance group bookings, with a minimum class size of 8 and maximum of 24 due to room constraints. New Winter Hours at the Goo Goo Shop

Shorter, colder days mean shorter hours at the Goo Goo Shop and Dessert Bar. Effective this week through end of February, the hours will be:

Sunday – Thursday 11 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Friday & Saturday 11 a.m. – 7 p.m.

Music City Food & Wine 2016

The most highly anticipated culinary event of the year in Nashville is just around the corner. On September 17th & 18th, Music City Food & Wine kicks off at Bicentennial Mall Park and we’ll be there in the Grand Tasting tents!

For the past several weeks, we’ve been introducing new Premium Goo Goo creations to you with the help of some of Nashville’s best chefs during our Summer Chef Series.
