The James Beard Awards, given out every year in May, honors chefs, restaurants, writers, journalists and other food professionals in the United States. Often called “The Oscars of the Food”, many in the culinary world dream of winning one of these awards.

So imagine our excitement when we heard the news that the CBS Sunday Morning episode we were featured in last November won a JB Award last week! The “Eat, Drink, and Be Merry” show won for the category Television Program In Studio or Fixed Location. Congratulations to the writers and producers of our segment. We’re honored to have been a part of it!
