Premium Goo Goo #3 has launched in our 2017 Summer Chef Series! Bringle’s Native Nashvillian was concepted by Peg Leg Porker Pitmaster and native Nashvillian Carey Bringle. Featuring Bringle’s own Peg Leg Porker Bourbon and peanuts smoked at his downtown Nashville restaurant, BNN is layered with peach bourbon ganache, toasted molasses marshmallow, smoked peanuts, and molasses bourbon caramel, then topped with a dark chocolate shell.
Next up in our 2017 Summer Chef Series is Chef Crystal De Luna-Bogan of Nashville’s Grilled Cheeserie Melt Shop. Crystal collaborated with us to create a Premium Goo Goo inspired by one of her first food truck dessert creations, a cookie melt made with insanely delicious pretzel & dark chocolate chip cookies.
Layered with vanilla bean marshmallow, that special recipe chocolate chip and pretzel cookie, salted caramel, then covered in milk chocolate, and finished with a pretzel crust base, the O.G. Cookie Melt Premium Goo Goo is available for a limited time, so hurry and get yours! You can purchase at the Goo Goo Shop, in our online store, or at The Grilled Cheeserie Melt Shop.
Our first release in the 2017 Goo Goo Summer Chef Series is from Chef Bryan Lee Weaver of Nashville’s Butcher & Bee restaurant. Bryan collaborated with us to create a Premium Goo Goo inspired by his favorite dessert, Banana Pudding.
Made with banana pudding ganache, toasted marshmallows, vanilla wafers, and caramel, then all covered in milk chocolate, the Bananas Bryan Premium is available for a limited time, so get yours now! Available at the Goo Goo Shop or in our online store.
The Goo Goo Shop is excited to announce that our third annual “Goo Goo Summer Chef Series” kicks off this Friday, July 14, 2017!
The series, featuring Premium Goo Goo creations imagined by some of Nashville’s best chefs, will run from July 14th through the end of September. This year’s lineup includes:
Bryan Lee Weaver – Butcher & Bee
Crystal De Luna-Bogan – Grilled Cheeserie Melt Shop + Food Trucks
Carey Bringle – Peg Leg Porker
Tony Galzin – Nicky’s Coal Fired
Levon Wallace – Gray & Dudley
Each chef will be collaborating with Bethany Halliger, the Goo Goo Shop’s Pastry Chef, to create his or her own Premium Goo Goo flavor that will be sold at the Goo Goo Shop, our online store, and in some instances, the chef’s restaurant. Flavors will rotate, with a new chef being featured every two weeks.
To wrap up the series, we’ll showcase all of the chefs’ flavors at Music City Food + Wine Festival on September 15th & 16th, 2017.
