The General Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations and personnel of the brand's flagship retail operation, Goo Goo Chocolate Co. The General Manager partners with the Assistant Managers in merchandising plans, inventory audits and price management. The General Manager oversees daily store and kitchen operations' standards are achieved within budgeted goals and expectations while ensuring the implementation of company policies and procedures. Goo Goo Chocolate Co.'s General Manager leads management staff and employees by providing support through effective training and facilitates their development through coaching and accountability. It is a condition of employment that they are flexible in regard to days and hours worked.
The Guest Associates at Goo Goo Chocolate Co. are responsible for interacting and engaging with the guests. Responsibilities will include welcoming and greeting guests, initiate conversations, answer questions, assist with the Design Your Own Goo Goo kiosks, merchandise sales, restock, operate register, and sharing the story of Goo Goo while they are visiting.
Assistant Store Manager
The Assistant Store Manager’s overall responsibility is to assist the General Manager in leading guest and employee experiences that drive Key Performance Indicators (KPI) results that maximize store performance. As a part of the overall role, there are three major areas of responsibility: People, Inventory and Operations. Other duties may be assigned as needed. The ASM is responsible for assisting in the management, scheduling, and training of new personnel and performance reviews.
